Hi to all, first post on here...actively looking for a facelift lc100 as per title but I'm stunned that I can't find a good one for less than 16k at the moment. What would you folks realistically expect to pay for such a beast? Seems a huge amount of money for a 10ish year old car...

The facelifted 5 speed auto 100s do seem to command a hefty premium over the 4 spd autos (BTW you can get facelifted models with the "old" 4 spd autobox from late 2003/ early 2004 - which was the cutover period).

Personally if I needed to buy quickly, whilst the 5 speeder is certainly preferred, I would buy based on condition and not on spec alone. These trucks are getting on a bit now and even the youngest 100 is going to be nearly 10 years old soon.......so even a later model could have some "issues" which need attention.

If you're not in a rush to buy, then yes, it would be worth waiting for a 5 spd version but still expect to pay anywhere between £13-16k. The closer we are to Winter, the more prices will firm up. So either get in quick or it might be worth waiting till the New Year, assuming you're not in a rush.
