I have a 2004 100 series 4.2 diesel with a performance chip (this may/may not be relevant) sometimes when traveling at speed, usually after a bout of acceleration the engine warning light comes on. It goes off again if I slow down fairly promptly and if if I stop and turn the engine off and then on again. There is no noticeable change in drive or sound when it is alight although initially when it first happened it felt like I'd lost some power but I think that might have been my imagination! This never happens in normal about town driving, only on the motorway. there is no rise in temperature or any other warnings, though the AHC has failed Sad. Any ideas?

Don't worry about it, mine is on all the time, remember land cruisers are made of sterner stuff than land rovers
