Hi all,
Quick intro as ill be beasting people with questions soon. Im a hobbyist in extremist and love doing rebuilds. Have owned my mk3 hilux for 10 years. Done a full strip, restore and custom build, fitted after building it a rover v8 and pretty much all done in my spare time. Will put some pics up when i work it out but sure others from hpoc will be on here.
Im currently in Nigeria (no i dont have a get rich deal for you) im out here with the british army. We use the armoured landcruisers and soooo many cool old cruisers out here inc FJ40s just laying about and left to rot as got a puncture or some other such reason. To ship anything from the north east will never make it to Lagos let alone out of lagos with all the corruption here so im hunting in the Uk. Looking for an 80 that needs some love, maybe dead engine but better if i can drive back as hell of a lump to tow. Want to do a refurb and maybe fit the 6BT.
Anyhow thats enough rambling on for now, as and when i have time ill be snurgling through posts educating myself on the pitfalls and pros of certain models.
Looking forward to throwing many many questions out there,

Fieldy

Oh im back in blighty end of July, missed a couple of projects being here but nose will be down when i get home.
