Hello everyone, my name is Nate.

i've just bought my first land cruiser, its an 80 series 4.2TD Auto.  1993, 200+K Its in need of a bit of tlc, but i'm overall happy with it the engine runs really smooth and sounds great, its a gamble but i just hope it serves me well as its my daily.

Looking forward to meeting people, gaining advice on what is a great vehicle.  I've got it primarily for a future overland project, but i need to get it up to scratch first.

i'd put up some pics but now photobucket have screwed everyone over not sure what to use. Rolling Eyes

anyway if anyone with an 80 is in the leeds area and wants to meet up i'd love to discuss what is best practice proactive maintenance for these rigs, who is good to use when something needs doing that i can't do myself and maybe a bit of schooling if someone is willing, i'd provide payment in beer.

i've done a bit of bodywork fixes and simple engine maintenance etc but want to go a bit further with this truck, cv's brakes etc.
