At the base of the lever. Center panel lifts outs easily. Prise off the silver strips first. Switch looks like this. https://www.amazon.com/Genuine-Toyota-84550-33010-Parking-Assembly/dp/B00GJJGIPM

Hi Wooly  The hand brake warning light will flicker if there is excessive play in the lever, this is often found to be at the top end of the cable . As you have accessed the switch you'll find it easily directly under the cup holder ,check the nut securing the end of the cable if its loose this will allow the lever to giggle up and down thus switching the light on.

and off. There is a short video on You Tube " Lexus GX 470 emergency brake light"

Good luck
Les

Does that light come on if the brake fluid is low?

That's what I was thinking. Worth checking.

Happened on mine as well, brake fluid was low not below min but low, turned out a brake pipe was leaking so fixed that and topped up the fluid and all good.
