|
|
Hi I have recently got a mot on a cruiser that has stood for a few years the Ecu was blown but replaced that and replaced electric aerial with a non electric one and wired a stereo and fitted a new oil cooler but when I switch off the car and lock it there is a audible continuous high pitch noise that I cannot get to stop it’s a bit like the warning alarm when you leave the headlights on but much quieter and higher pitched
The noise stops as soon as the door is opened and the dash light for for doors is illuminated and this noise is flattening my battery but I have no idea what it is or how to rectify the problem
Hope someone can help out
Regards Jason |

The same happened on my '91, i replaced the switch on the door jam and a section of the wiring where the insulation had degraded, whining noise gone. |
