Hi All
I'm an avid reader for a long time and find this site very informative, this is my first time looking for advise - so here goes.

My Land Cruiser is a 1998 Pardo / Colorado KZJ 95 R LWB with 1KZTE engine.

Basically I want to wire 4 spot lights, they are 8 inch Britax with 55watt HID bulb for main beam with angel eyes around the rim
The plan is to connect the spot's main beam to the jeeps main beam so when lights are dipped they will switch off, and the angel eyes are to be connected to the jeeps side lights (parking lights)
Spots are fitted with 95% of the wiring done with two separate relays etc. etc. but my query is what is the best / handiest way to connect to the jeeps headlight and side lights. There are numerous very light gauge wires going to the headlight how does figure our which is correct one to splice into ?  Thanks.

Oops ...a little correction :  - The spots have 55 watt H3 Halogen Bulbs (not HID) and the angel eyes around rim are LED.  All are powered directly from battery on two separate fused relays.

Thanks.

I assume you have this sorted... I would wire your relay trigger wire into the +12v light output at the fuse box.. its drier and tidy to connect up there, but most will just use a multi meter, find the lead on the H4 headlight connector that goes to +12 when on, and tap in there, use this to trigger your relay...

I would also be tempted to have a kill switch or an independent on switch in the cabin so you can disable them or turn them on independent of the headlights....
