i bought one of them double cigar sockets from halfords and it blew
my fuses the normal cigar lighter works and the one in the back works
but can not make the front work i have checked fuses in the foot well
is there a fuse that i do not know about
can any one help please |

Not sure if it's the same as the Surfs, but they have an inline fuse just behind the socket, so it might be worth checking. _________________ It's Not a Bl**dy Jeep it's a Landcruiser

yes i know and it wasnt even for the landcruiser it was for the nissan going out next day so that the tom tom and phone charger can all be used at once
i have pulled the dash out but can not see a in line fuse i think i will put it into a auto electrician because it is eating away at me its the only thing thats not working in the vehicle

The only fuse I can see is number 23 (15A) in the side kick panel in the footwell and iit draws supply from number 2 fuse in engine bay fuse box but if that one's blown it would take out the starting system, and turn signal lights and more. If it's not the fuse check the supply behind the socket in case the connectors have come adrift. |
