i have a 12n towing socket that is not finished properly inside the car jack panel, i see a plug socket alone and guess this is the trailer socket, but it is unused with the wiring from my 12n and 12s sockets hard wired into the jack compartment with the blue 12n wire not connected to anything
i need to know what colour wire i connect to inside the compartment as it is for the rear fog lights from the car to the caravan .. the wires from the bulb holder in the car rear fog light into the loom are white/black (earth) and red/yellow (live) the red/yellow wire i cannot find inside the car jack compartment ...any one have a clue or shall i take it to an auto electrician

i have an aussie haynes  manual that shows the tailgate lights as w/b and g and g/w on the curcuit it isn't much help as i don't really want to buy a toyota trailer plug and 12n socket connector as that may not work either

i like to have a dabble myself as you may all at times  Confused

i managed to eventually find the red yellow/wire and probed it just before the connector onto an earth ..the probe lit up when the rear fog lights were on and unlit when turned off again so i joined them together with the connectors i got from halfords and tested the 12n socket for the fog lights ..perfect .. i then tested it all hooked up to the caravan and it worked great ..then i put all the stuff back to normal in the back of the amazon ...i feel well chuffed with myself today .. watch some barsteward spoil my good feeling tonight at work ..  Very Happy
