Good evening.
I would appreciate the forum advice on the following :
I have a 2002 100TD and have encountered a brake problem. Over a short period of time the brakes started to fade resulting in a number of warning light coming on.
Having read similar issues on the forum, we removed the servo motor and sent it to Robson & Francis Rewinds for servicing.
They could not say definitely if the motor was the fault.
We assembled the unit and refitted it today only to find that the problem is not resolved.
Any advice would be much appreciated.

If the car has been standing for a while you should hear the Brake Servo Motor run when the ignition is turned on. It will stop when the servo tank is pressurised.
Is this happening ??
If it is, and the brakes gradually fade to the point that the warning lights and 'beeping' alarm sound it indicates that you have no pressure in the servo tank.
Either the pump motor has stopped running or you have a leak somewhere in the system.
Are you losing brake fluid (the level changes from static to lower when running) ??
From what you have said I would suspect a bad electrical contact somewhere - fuse holder, relay, earth connection - all the usual suspects.
I'd be bvery wary of driving the car until you have found, and fixed, the cause .
Keep us posted.
