Hi Guys
I have noticed that the belts driving my alternator are in need of adjustment. they need to be a bit tighter.
It is difficult to see the brackets , so to save time could some one advise me on how to proceed.
Thanks in advance..
Regards
Paul

This job is easy to do if the threads in the adjusters are not stripped. you will also need long thin arms and be able to see around corners. not easy at my age.

I did mine both from underneath and above, underneath to loosen the locking bolt for adjuster (or the alternator bottom bolt), from top to loosen the alternator top bolt, I did remove the Aux battery for easier access. |

Hi,
I thought about doing the job from under the car. But I did not want to remove the bash plate..so just worked from the top. (I did not remove the second battery)
My belts look like being replaced in the next 12 months. Thats if we are able to drive soon.
