Hello everyone,

Hope you're well and safe in these interesting times!

I have a problem with my Landcruiser, 3.0 D-4D 2005. (I love this car!)

The turbo has gone.

I bought a compatible turbo from evil bay which hasn't worked (fouled impeller) and I'm now trying to source another one.

I am grateful for any pointers you have regarding replacement parts, where to source etc.

I haven't used this forum before but a friend suggested you would be a knowledgeable source of information...

Many thanks,

Dan

You have hit the nail on the head.

Yep, commissioned a local company who does this sort of thing. They noted that usually the best option is to recondition the current part.

Faulty turbo was purchased, thinking it was ok, fitted, failed, returned, what a nuisance.

Really appreciate you getting back to me.

Stay safe and keep well.
