I have a 55 plate diesel 120 with occasional warning lights on the dash (see separate posts) One suggestion has been to replace the fuel filler neck if it has any holes in it. No, I don't know why either but it does work! I know the rubber breather pipe leaks on my car when the tank is full and the rest looks pretty corroded, so was thinking of swapping the whole thing out. Is it necessary to drop the fuel tank to replace the filler pipes and breather? How difficult a job is it?

Thanks for your help.

Replaced the fuel  filler pipe on my 2006 lc a few months ago, two jubilee clips at the fuel tank, removed the plastic cover from the inner rear arch, there is a bracket that holds the filler pipe to the vehicle had to grind the bolt off as it was very corroded, don't need to remove the fuel tank it takes a bit of wrangling to remove pipe but it will come out, new one went in no problem, think I got mine from milliners off road,
