Hi Folks!

The steering wheel on my J95 is pretty tired looking and the beige colouring on the Air Bag cover is worn away to black in places.  I know I could probably find one at a breakers...eventually but I am thinking to change the double din radio/stereo.  So I am wondering if it is possible to fit a Toyota wheel that has remote buttons on the steering wheel. Maybe from a Corolla or similar?

Does anyone know if this is possible?

I did see on an Aussie forum mention of this but seemingly, you need a 3D printed adapter???

Any help or guidance appreciated.

TIA.

Hi, sorry, I've never contemplated such a thing.

But there are instances of direct swaps within the Toyota range. For example, my electric window switch came from a mid-2000s Yaris. So you may find a direct fit steering wheel, but its goind to take some research! A comprehensive list of parts interchangeable with other Toyotas has been mooted a few times on at least two UK forums but has never really happened to my knowledge.

On the other hand if the Aussie forums can't find a fix without the need for an adaptor, there probably isn't one.
