Hi Everyone,
First post so please be gentle.
I have a 1979 bj40 imported from Australia which I managed to  gradually restore over the last 6 years.
The B engine is pretty tired due in no part to the high mileage which is the norm for everyone in oz.
I have acquired an 1985 hj60 with a 2h engine ,Power steering ,Disc brakes and a 5 Speed Box.
The Body is pretty rough but everything else is pretty good.
The hj is 24 v and the Bj is 12v.
I was advised to Keep the engine 24v as I won't have to buy new alternators etc.
I would appreciate any advice on some of the following questions or indeed links etc.
Can I use the hj60 engine mounts?
The hj47 ones are very expensive.
Is the 12v loom ok to use?

Obviously putting the 5 speed ,Disc Brakes etc into the 40 requires some modifications and I would appreciate any photos etc which would help me transform the old Bj.
Any help greatly appreciated.
