I'm wondering what these people want to pay though Paul, and are prices now taking a dive/ is the market now not so strong for an old diesel of any sort.
I know of a 2001 in really good condition all over, started at £4500, now £3500 and still no takers.
It could be that these old diesels are somewhat of a niche market for a buyer never owning one or knowing what they are like, it's only owners of different series like us, that appreciate them for what they are, and what they are worth to us.
At that price, it would be a bargain, simply because they are reliable trucks, and good ones are hard to find.
Keep yours, maintain it as you have been, and enjoy it, as I do with the 120, that has taken preference over the 78 now parked up.
Just spent another £350 on the 120, because of my own vigilance keeping on top of it. |
