Hi, hope someone can help with this. My 96 Prado has the electronic heater, air con, climate unit, no mechanical levers and cables. Its now stopped blowing hot air. If you put it on auto and turn the temperature control knob the air con comes on and off in response to this. It has been suggested to have a feel of the heater matrix to see if its getting hot but I cant seem to find access to it. Any suggestions or advice would be greatly appreciated. |

If you can't access the heater matrix you could try o locate the 2 hoses that go to it from the engine bay and check to see if those hoses are hot or cold when the engine is hot which may help indicate that the water is circulating through the heater matrix. |

Hi, thanks for that. I have been scouring previous posts and may have found the answer. Seems the heater valve in the engine bay or cable may be jammed, in fact pretty sure the valve is jammed. Going to price one up on Monday. |
