Mine cane with an aftermarket single din unit which I replaced with a different single din unit. No sign of there ever having been a separate amp, the speaker connectors were all up in the dash and looked factory. I had a quick look at the electrical service manual and can see no mention of a separate amp. _________________ 1997 Toyota Land Cruiser Colorado 3.4VX |

I do have one tip from bitter experience, be very gentle when prising off the large trim piece in the centre of the dash, it's very easy to chip the veneer off along the edges, especially along the top edge where it is really thin, even with a plastic trim tool. _________________ 1997 Toyota Land Cruiser Colorado 3.4VX |
