Hi all
I'm preparing for an injector job soon and need to be sure about what LC I actually have before I start ordering parts.
So my question is, how can I identify exactly what LC I have?
Here's what I know so far ...
2003 Landcruiser LC4 Auto
Model KDJ120R-GKPLYW
What I don't know, is what band the engine output is (kW/ps). Is this related to the gearbox type?
This appears to be important because Denos want to know to be sure about the injector spec.
They have options for ...
- 120kW (163ps)
- 122kW (166ps)
- 127kW (173ps)
- 150kW (204ps)
How do I know which I have?
I do know that I have D-1-2-3 options for gears. Does this tell anyone about my kW/ps output spec?
Also, I don't appear to have the same EGR cooler/throttle body assembly as most 120s. I assume this is a Euro X difference - but how do I know which one?
Note: This info is NOT Listed anywhere on the V5 registration docs (log book) or with a DVLA vehicle check.
I appreciate any guidance anyone can offer |

Hi , go to toyo .diy and type in your 120 details where asked and type in your vin number and you will get the exact date of when your car was made so that you can always order the right parts for the year of your car . Plus keep the toyo.diy for part numbers and diagrams as well as toyota dealer price list before vat which are ridiculously expensive . |

Plus then go onto denso (who make the toyota genuine injectors ) own parts website and track the right injector part number for your 120 and then use that denso part number to buy your injectors and parts that you need from specialist parts suppliers . |

The correct Denso injectors for your 120 is DCRI100750 which are new injectors and not recon . Cost from pf jones a denso specialist part supplier is £248.61 each , recon ones can be had for £180 plus a refund of about £40 each injector if you return of your old injectors ontime within a certain period . I always recommend new injectors as they are not only all new parts but also updated to run better and last a lot longer . I also recommend you fit new injector pipes and seals as recommended by toyota and toyota specialists .genuine injector pipes and seals and cam cover gasket , fuel return washes etc can be had from Amayama or megazip or partsouq.com .Hope that helps you in your search for parts . |
