So you can't say where the leak was, through the resin or around the O-ring?

It was a long time ago when I did mine, but from memory I removed the pump covers and oil filter, then 3 or 4 Allen head bolts to move the plate that covers the injector unions on the pump, then 2 Allen head bolts that hold the TCV. _________________ It's Not a Bl**dy Jeep it's a Landcruiser

Nor.
It looked like when it came out that it was through the resin which is why I think it may be possible to fix but possibly not. Hopefully a small amount of araldite should do the job. I think the continual heating and cooling makes the resin pull away from the metal - certainly it makes sense since the leak was coming out through the wiring socket itself rather than elsewhere on the body of the TCV.
