Just to introduce myself, just about to acquire a year 2000 Colorado with 57K on the clock (just about run in from what I'm told for one of these ) Wink

Embarassed  Embarassed  Embarassed Those of sensitive nature might want to look away, this is my first foray into Toyota territory, previous 4 x 4 include:-

Landrover Series 3 straight 6 (even worse fuel economy than a harrier jump jet, oh the extravagances of youth, this was in 1985)
Defender 110 CSW for 6 years and trips to Bosnia & France
Isuzu Trooper 3.0 7 seater, just written off by a tractor, hense the purchase of the Landcruiser as replacement

Picked the Colorado up on Thursday from the dealers Very Happy, out on Saturday with the local RAYNET (Amateur Radio Emergency Communications) team providing communications for a horse endurance event and had to use the vehicle to take paramedics up to a rider on the top of the hills who had been thrown from her horse.  Good use made of the LC's 4x4 ability.

Better ride O/R than the old defender, seemed more sure footed than the trooper, nice to back to permanent 4WD

John
