Hello,

We will move to Scotland and will take our 2006 HZJ 79 with us. We imported the car via Extrem into Germany. It was build for the African market. (And to make it even more International: I am Belgian.)

To addapt the car for driving at the left side of the road and being able to bring the car into trafic (pass a SVA Check) we will need to change the haedlamps (beam dipped to the orther side).
Question 1: Does anyone knows the exact Toyota part number for this UK or Autrailian type headlamps?

Also, we will need the change the (electronical) Speedometer with one indicating the speed in both Miles and KM.
Question 2: Does anyone has the exact Toyota part number for such a Speedometer?
Question 3: Or is there a "build on" solution, like e.g. an extra VDO Speedometer?

And Finaly, question 4:
Where can I find South-West of Glosgow a (Toyota) dealer or service center that has experiance with the HZJ79 Buschtaxi.

Thanks for your information.
Jos

Lots of part numbers here
http://forum.ih8mud.com/diesel-tech-24-volts-systems/42417-diesel-part-number-thread-no-chit-chat-parts-requests.html

I replaced a headlight on my HZJ75 last week. I used a cheap generic one made in China. I just did 2500 klms ,some of it on the roughest tracks I have ever encountered
A headlight from a Brittish spec LJ70 should work.
The Toyota brand is Koito. There are shops that sell their products independant of Toyota

I would fit an aftermarket speedo, maybe a GPS type. I know Toyota did make a dual face speedo, but that was for early model 60 or 70 series
