Hi Guys,

First post and its a cracker !!

Amazon
2004/54 plate
4.2TD VX

My touch screen satnav/radio/aircon multi display unit has stopped responding.

My dealer has spent quite a bit of time on it and all their technical bulletins etc point to the fact that the main head unit has gone down.

They've qouted me about £1700 + vat for the part and then labour on top of that.

Has anyone had one of these repaired or can help me with any cheaper options ??  - I know its a reasonable price for what it does but its still a ton of cash to spend if it can be repaired or replaced in some other way.
