Have a amazon 05, gave to missus with loads of kids. I ended up driving a 05 3 series. Swopped the BM today for a 01 VX. Am i nuts but in the good old days you'd never get a swop like this. |

Excellent swap.
(I wouldn't give anything for a BMW)
Congratulations.

no pics yet, but i have found the LC's very reliable. Easy driving will see a very big return in diesel consumption. With the bm i felt naked if i had an accident. The big problem on the LC's are the torque convertors which go circa 120k and are a big job to do.....otherwise like the 300GD G wagen engine that straight six diesel just goes forever. |

I dont think thats a bad swap. I have an '04 Amazon and I hate driving my wifes '53 330ci it feels like your're driving down the road on a skateboard, no protection, worm's eye view of the road in front and an absolute b@stard to get in and out of |
