I bought mine in March 04 and it has been my main vehicle since then.

70,000 miles and only needed a radiator and an exhaust apart from brake pads etc.

Awesome motor and if I get a newer one I will turn this one into an off road beast because I just can't part with it.

2003 LC100 V8 lpg - since last March - silent but deadly.

Got the lpg software tweaked + now smooth as silk.
Thought the suspension accumulators were on the way out but garage says ok - I'll apply the 'kerb test' when I get home and we'll see.....otherwise... Very Happy  Very Happy  Very Happy

1998 3.4 Colorado - Looked at the new Elsies - nice, attractive idea but the diff lock's gone and the spare tyre is underneath !!! Anyway what am I getting for the loads of extra cash which is not already on the 1998 machine ? Anybody using an Elsie over axle twisters with a view on the effectiveness of the Limited Slip Diff ?

Had my '93 80 Series 4 years, serviced regularly, refurbed fuel pump, BEBs done, second hand front diff (another one in the Garage to rebuild) 100K miles and broken down once so far (battery terminal corroded - hadn't looked at it for a while as it had a cover over it - got home with the aid of a jubilee clip and a bolt to fix the cable to the post).

Factory Winch and bumper got off e bay, 17in Land Cruiser option wheels got from a mate off his 4Runner, 2 sets of Cooper ATR Tyres (2nd set still about 1/2 worn).

Got to say I love the beast, gets pretty good economy still (needs an Injector refurb now) cruises through the Motorway miles and the little lanes round Gloucestershire, is comfortable but still feels truck like enough to feel authentic.

It's now got just over 220K miles on it.
