Yippee ki I ay!  Laughing
02+ for me then (which means £12,000+), but still less than an '02 4.4 Vogue

I just called for an insurance quote - £1,200.
Will have to keep shopping around.  Crying or Very sad

Don't go for the cheapest around, and shop around too. It can get frustrating as there are loads of worn out 80's and 100's, some with clocked mileage.
Try looking at www.brightwells.com and e bay is woth keeping an eye on too. What ever you decide on, have a reserve fund of £2000, just incase something needs to be sorted within the next 12 months.
Also check the servicing costs, before you decide.
I have a '97 80 series, which i find a little 'lumpy' on the road, but a great 'cruiser' on motorways, travelling all day at 90 every easily. As some have mentioned, the 100 has a better ride but more can go wrong. As for interior, personnaly there isn't that much difference between the two.
