Just been reading a few posts and read one about rolling over.

I don't know about all Land Cruisers but I was driving down a concret farm track once in my 02 which got written off later by rolling LMAO

but prior to that I drove off the farm track about 30 to 40 up a two foot bank onto a field track to give way to a normal car and it did bounce a bit but it didn't turn over and it seemed pretty stable for a violent turn and bounce.

The Cruiser will actually take a lot of abuse in corners and is still pretty stable.  I have to turn the side airbags off when I give way sometimes cause I'm in the hedge/pushing the limits up banks regularly.

If your on a normal road set the suspension to sport that will tighten things up loads.  I don't bother but then I know you can walk away from real bad ones.  It's just a learnt thing.

Mind you, my Amazon with tools, welder, gas bottle to farm spec weighs close to 3.5t.

Yes, I did turn mine over. But if you read the post, you'll see that it's a very specific situation. There is also a video clip of it happening in Oz in exactly the same way that mine did. 4x4s are like quads. Absolutely fine in most situation, but there are couple of really weak points. Traversing side slopes of course is one of them. Clearly coming down backwards very steep inclines and touching the brakes is another!

Yes coming down a slope and braking will definately do it.

I learnt my off roading skills with months of military training.

Great fun especially in a 30t truck with 8 wheels with 10 pallets of ammo on the back.
