Ram-mount as recommend by Paul H, having used Memory Map for a few years a small PDA screen is a pain and you will soon want something bigger, just to save you one of my mistakes Very Happy

i put the pda version of Anquet maps on my HP ipaq travel companion PDA - the pda has inbuilt GPS and tomtom already,
and the PC version of anquet gave me the option to install on the PDA
on a 2GB memory card I can get 1/2 the UK in 1:50,000 scale
so I have a few 2GB cards,  scotland and N England on one, and the rest on another card

works very well,
and the PDA came with a windscreen suction pad mount and cigarette socket power cable

unfortunately the new version of this HP ipaq doesnt have windows mobile operating system, so you cant install 3rd party software like i did,
e.g. excel, powerpoint, word, outlook,  anquest maps, acrobat pdf

the screen isnt that big, same as a regular Sat-nav unit, but even with 1:50,000 maps i can see ok, and the map moves as one drives
