Hi James,
You have got me down twice. Once in group 1 (Stephen Nixon), and once in group 3 (bigyun). So I guess you are back in.

In response to the email i decided to check if i have recovery points on the rear of my 80 as i cant remeber seening any and i was right, there are none. Do 80s come with rear recovery points? I have a towbar but no tow ball, could i fit a swivel eye to it? _________________ Rob

Hey Guys,
have sent an email, but can you all please remember:
Signed Disclaimer
Packed Linch (you won't have time to buy one at lunchtime as there are no shops nearby)
Suitable footwear (its likely to be very very wet and muddy)
Waterproofs for the morning (passingshowers seem likely)
Thanks
Jim |

Many thanks to Jim for organising the day! Despite the weather, I think everyone enjoyed themselves and learnt something new!

Jim thankyou very much for organizing the event today, thanks also to the instructors. It was a good day despite the wind and rain, there again one is most likely to get stuck when the weather is bad
I for one learnt a couple of new tricks, for those that were not able to make it, here are some photos of the winch training station.
At the bottom
This is what we were winching up.
Off we go.
Yep that really is Wildsmith in my truck doing a grand job of 'stump watching'
Here is Pugwash on winch control and one of the trainers
And here we are nearly at the top......at last
Once again thankyou Jim for a great day and it was nice to meet all the tloc members and drivers thankyou guys and girls for testing my truck for me .
