Hi all, after 6yrs of owning my 92 LC80, 4.2TD VX ltd, I need to spend some money on her to keep her rolling as she should, basically I need a rolling chassis service and at least one CV joint replaced, I would also like to have my rear and front brake disc rotors changed ( I have them for f&r and sets of f&r pads too ) I would also if money allows like to change as many bushes etc for poly ones, I intend to keep her for many more years hence the want to look after her a bit in her old age. I run her on homemade bio curtosy of my local chippy and she has run fine on it for several years now, infact better performance and quieter than on reg diesel.
I am somewhat ltd as to how much I can spend as I am disabled and unfortunaly rely on benefit payments to survive BUT that said I will happily pay for an honest days work !, but I would prefer to use someone who has been recommended rather than try to find someone who I can entrust my pennies to and I just cannot stand to get ripped off when money is so tight.
Thanks all for your time and recommendations if you know of someone nr me in Bristol/Bath area...
