Hi
i have a 2003 landcruiser amazon with hydraulic / electric suspension and need to change the rear shock absorbers.
does any body know how to get to them , access to the top etc, ?
look very awkward for access , unless there is an access hole inside the car ?
any help or pointers advise etc will be greatly appreciated.
ps great forum , have learnt lots from the posts on here.

hi just changed another rear shock this morning, Had two i did the other day on another rusty landcruiser including connecting hyd pipes but had to di grind the heads of the 12mm nuts as very rusty.

Managed to undo the nut this morning by gripping the shock with big mole grips held with a bar and then ring spanner on nut - quite aquard though
other ideas i read here were to power hacksaw shock - good or put spanner on nut and turn shock with grips or stilsons.

good luck - it can be done with perseverance.
