Hi guys, as the title says I’m a Land Rover owner with just two vehicles currently to my name. A Range Rover classic for restoration & a Range Rover L322 Autobiography as my daily driver. I’ve owned a number of Range Rovers & a couple of Discovery’s over the years & not got any horror stories or major issues to tell you of. Partly I think due to the fact that I looked after them with proper maintenance.

Now you probably know why I’m here though, it’s because I keep hearing about this Landcruiser reliability & I need to find out more Wink In all seriousness though I’m actually looking to buy a diesel Colorado auto for travelling up and down the motorway & a little off-roading & I might even catch the overlanding bug.

My kids are moving down to Devon at the end of the month which is a 200 miles journey for me &
I want something bulletproof that I won’t have to worry about breaking down on me. Even though I’ve never had any major issues with any Land Rovers or Range Rovers I've owned, the thought of putting big miles on my current Range Rover doesn’t exactly fill me with confidence. It’s got 146k on it but I just don’t trust it to do over 200k.

I’m I right then to assume that something like a 2001 3.0d auto Colorado will push past that 200k mark & beyond with no worries, providing it’s maintained properly of course?

Yes no water drips while driving, I had that on a disco 2 that I owned drivers side would leak in heavy rain.
I have since bought myself a 2002 Landcruiser Colorado VX D4d auto. 200k with fsh but needs the gearbox doing so I got it cheap. Overall it’s mint condition & doesn’t look 19 years old.
