New to forum.Apols if this subject has already been put to bed! Have bought new links to replace due MOT 'minor defects'. Lower attachment threaded rod  is about 3/4 inch shorter than original. Supplier claims part number checks with OE. Nut will not tighten into safety. Any ideas??

It would help if you tell us the vehicle that you have, also where you got the parts and are they genuine Toyota bits.

Sorry. 2003 Landcruiser 4.0 Petrol. Rods from Europarts UK manufactured by Blueprint. Bilstein. Blueprint guy says they match with OE part no. Will try local Toyota dealer for their advice. Thanks

It's worth asking Toyota, but Eastbourne were not much help last time I asked them, also have a look at this thread in the 120 series section. http://www.tlocuk.co.uk/forums/viewtopic.php?t=8048&highlight=links
