Well gent's,

I had a fantastic trip today, up the most powerful crane in the world.

http://www.3ds.com/fileadmin/PRODUCTS/CATIA/OFFERS/CATIA-ANALYSIS/PDF/Yantai-Raffles-Shipyard-Contact-Mag.pdf

Lifting capacity is 20 000 tons

I am not sure the height, but it's damn high !

Actual height 122 meters, a mere HALF the height of my bungy jump.

Any way, down to the images.

An elevator takes us up.

.
View is amazing, it is higher than the surrounding hills and mountains.

The lifting end

Now that's slightly larger than the 50 tonne Demag's I used to work on  Crying or Very sad
Would love to take a trip up that. The higher and bigger, the better.
