Hello everyone. I'm a new member and have a few questions regarding a JDM 1990 Land Cruiser Prado LJ78 I have. It's running well, but the electric locking hub on one side isn't working. Specifically, the little electric motor for the left side hub is shot. Also, the small gear that is on the end of the shaft of the electric motor inside the hub (it turns the big ring gear that engages the hub), is broken. The carbon brushes for the motors (both sides) are also worn and will need replacing pretty soon. I live in Canada and as these vehicles were not available here I am having trouble sourcing these parts. None of the domestic (North American) Cruisers had similar hubs that can be swapped out. Does anyone know the parts numbers for the parts listed above, or better yet, know a dealer from whom I can order the parts? Any information would be greatly appreciated!
Cheers,
Mike

Best order the whole hub, Toyota part #43530-60052. See my post of 15 March 2006 in the Prado forum - are you sure it is not the carbon brush which is broken?
