|
|
HI All,
I'm after some advice.
I am currently looking into buying a Land cruiser Colorado LWB, one of the cars I am interested in is
a 1998 3.4 Petrol, I will possibly looking into converting it to LPG in the future.
The question at hand is, is there enough room under the vehicle to fit a tank there?
reason being is that I used to own a Grand cherokee on LPG and had a massive tank fitted inside the cabin and that
took away most of the cargo area rendering it almost unusable .
it would be great if someone had some pictures of their installation
Many thanks in advance

you can get them that fit underneath, I have removed a dicky seat and fitted a vertical tank in its place, justa bout to fit one to the other side aswell, all in a total of approx 150 litres of lpg and still have a full size tank of liquid gold for the regions that are still a little short on lpg stations ie.. Cumbria and Wales
all I have done is cover it with a soft spare cover so it looks like it was meant to be there

Awesome, that is a very good option, thanks for the quick reply, I indeed want to leave the petrol tank
unmolested if at all possible, so your option looks viable
Cheers |

you can also fit a cylinder type tank in length wy#ays and again it looses very little space over the dicky seat, I will see if I can get my mate to post a photo of his mounted in this manour, I think it again was an 80 to 90 litre tank _________________ 1998 Toyota Landcruiser Colorado 3.4 V6 (sold)
