Got a double din DVD player in mine no problem

hi All , is it just as simple as removing the posi screws to remove the fascia panel to allow my existing Toyota stereo to pull out ?,not had tools out yet , just thought i'd ask before diving in a breaking something ?!!!, Mark.

Hi Mark,
I had to take the whole facia off mine when I did it - including the wooden part that goes across in front of the speedo etc.
Quite scary at the time because I thought it might snap! I seem to remember seeing some videos on it on YouTube or something or a guide on one of the forums.
The trouble is most double din units are fitted from the rear so the trim has to come off to gain access & then they are fastened at the side, rather than by some sort of cage.
