Hello all,
was wondering if anyone has an idea of best oil grade for a high-ish mileage (150K) D4-D KDJ 120?
I have read various recommendations from ful synth 5-30 to 10-40 semi.
please any advice, experiences and help welcome

Hi Bud, just changed mine I used 5w 30 castrol GTX and runs smoothly, asdas was selling it at £20 for 4ltrs you will need two and another couple of litres mine seemed to take around 8 ltrs to fill. |

Thanks Nige,
After reading a section from the online 'Oil Bible', I was already eyeing up some 5-30 magnatec in halfords for about £24 a go, so if its the same stuff, I will be heading across town.
While on the subject of running smoothly and asda, I have noticed running on fuel from the likes of Esso and Shell makes a huge difference in smooth running in comparison with the supermarket stuff and also gives better power and MPG.
(The noise from the injectors or lack of it is remarkable) |
