Hi everyone,  
The guy I bought this car from said the cam belt will need changing but a mechanic I spoke to said it was a chain not a belt! Any ideas out there in the ether?
Also the windows worked when I bought it but now only the drivers window works, I have made sure the window lock is off.... is there a trick to this or is it a fault?

If the windows worked before and since you have or had the one or both batteries  disconnected then conected again if your car is anything like a 120 series you will have to start at the front passenger side and operate the door switch to bring the window down at least halfway then press the switch on the passenger door to lift the window and keep it pressed for at least 2 seconds after the window closes , do the same with the rear passenger door switches and work your way around all door windows until you have returned to the drivers door and then the drivers door switches should operate all door windiws . As for if you have cam belt or timing chain depends on if you have petrol or diesel . If you have  lc100 amazon diesel it will be a timing belt , if you have petrol amazon its highly probable that it is a V8 with timing chain .
