My only interaction with BOAB has been buying stuff but Chris and TJ seem like genuine guys that know what they're doing.

OK - we need to book reasonably soon.  There are places on both weeks.  The route is the same both weeks, so no issue there.

We've had a look and have decided to go for the one SUNDAY MAY 30 to SATURDAY JUNE 05 (we have a wedding anniversay the Saturday before, and I have a birthday in that week, so should be fun  Wink)

Any takers, so I can make a block booking?  We only get a discount if we take the whole trip - 6 or 7 vehicles.

Got this from BOAB:

Hello Gary

Thanks for the e-mail

1. yes - both weeks same route
2. places still available both weeks so far.
3. If you can fill a week with a full group (will accept six or seven cars) yes we can do a discount of £40:00 per vehicle x 6 or £45:00 per vehicle x 7.
For "a few" other members plus your self - maybe small discount, but we get a lot of people who want to holiday together.

If you can confirm numbers, I'll confirm our end.

If you want to book a week exclusively for your club / mates - please let me know ASAP, as we'll have to make arrangements for others already booked / booking

Cheers

OK - so far for the trip starting Sunday May 30th -> Saturday June 5th:

Me
NC
Crispin (TBC)
BigYun

I'll see what I can get for us, and let you know.  As far as bookings, deposits, etc. - I can book, but you'll all need to put down your own cash, in case I do a runner  Wink

Just spoke to Chris Simons at BOAB, and the gen is this:

There are 2 other vehicles booked so far.

The deposit required is £175.00

No discount for us, if we book and pay individaully.  If we do a group booking there may be something for us, but for single travellers probably not because you'll still get a double room (unless you choose to bunk together  Shocked  Wink  Wink )

Please can you let me know:

Full name
Vehicle Details (make, model, Reg no - most of which is obvious...)
e-mail address for Simon to get hold of you for comms., etc. and so he can send you whatever he needs to send, and to arrange payment.

If anyone else wants to join in, best to shout now - seems there is only really space for one more vehicle.

please mail the above details to me at <gary.stockton @ googlemail.com> asap

take out irrelevant spaces and < >

Cheers

Did you look at the pics of previous trips and see the obstacle they call 'The Rock'?  Shocked  Laughing

I'm not going to make any comments about towing anyone till after we get through that  Rolling Eyes

THEN I'll have a gentle rev of any LR carers (depending on rescue / recovery status!!) ...  Twisted Evil
